INDEXI - was a Bosnian and former Yugoslav rock band popular in Yugoslavia. It was created in 1962 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disintegrated in 2001 when the singer Davorin Popović died. Some of their most notable songs are "The World I Live In" and "Somewhere in the End, in Silence" with lyrics by Želimir Altarac Čiček, "Tide", "All These Years", "I Dream" and "She Thrown Everything Down the River", which were later covered by many other groups of the former Yugoslavia, especially the Red Apple. The indexes were created in 1962, and their name was derived from the "Index," which was a diary of student grades. They started making instrumental arrangements of popular hits, but in 1967 they began composing. They were known as the “Pioneers of Psychedelic Rock,” and were inspired by many bands like the Beatles, Yes, and The Guess Who.
