Great place for walking, picnic and barbecue

The Memorial complex "Lokve" is located on the Bokesevica mountain where from 1993 to 1995 there were important battles against the HVO and HV fighters who wanted to master this space and cut off the strategically important road communication between the free towns of Jablanica and Konjic. The mountain is located just above Jablanica Lake, above the villages of Žuglići, Šabančići, Mrakovo and Rodići. The view from this mountain to the lake is fascinating! The memorial complex "Lokve" contains a facility suitable for living and sleeping with an outdoor covered terrace, two built-in external toilets, three outdoor fountains, a stage for manifestations, a small football stadium and a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is suitable for trips and maintenance of historical lessons about the courageous and noble struggle for freedom!
