The Tara Tower is the left tower of the Old Bridge. Defense tower with three meters thick stone walls. Served as a weapons and gunpowder depot. It is now a five-story museum. On the back floor is a lookout with many small windows arranged on each wall so that the view is 360 °. The purchased ticket also includes a tour of the archaeological section of the museum, which leads below the Old Bridge and exits to the bazaar.

Mostar is the city of Herzegovina, before Bosnia and Herzegovina are federally federated, and the Neretva River flows around the city, a stone-built bridge over the river that was built as the Stari Most (the old bridge) a bridge. The name of the bridge and the city name Mostar were derived from the Mostari (Protector of the Bridge), an Ottoman army guarding the bridge at the time of construction. It was destroyed by the Croatian army in the Bosnian civil war in 1993, but UNESCO sponsored the reconstruction project and was restored in July 2004.
