I have in the clit jam is Senajid ef. Alic, born April 24, 1976 in Klisa. He finished elementary school in 1990 in Petkovci. Gazi Husref-beg's madrasa enrolled in the 1990/91 school year. He has been doing my duty in Klisa since 1999.
The Klisa jam was once part of the Kozluk jam. The first mekteb in Klisa was built in 1910. The land where the mosque is today is occupied by Džemil Omerović with hanum Emin. The mosque was inaugurated in 1982. The guests at the opening of the mosque were: Hussein ef. Smajic, religious advisor to the Committee of the Islamic Community of Zvornik, hfz. Hussein ef. Mijic, Mufti of Tuzla, dr. Ahmed ef. Smajlovic, President of the Islamic Community Eldership for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. It is an honor to open the mosque.
The villages of Klisa include Klisa, Kaludrani, Gine, Sjenokos and Setici. The Mektebi were built in Kaludrani and Šetići. The masjid in Setici has a minaret. There is a Shahid fountain in Klisa, which, according to tradition, was the motive for the inhabitants of this settlement to live in it and to live. For the victims of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992-1995), a Shahid memorial was built. Residents from this Jama'at were taken to Bijeli Potok on June 1, 1992, along with the Djulic Muslims. The land was evacuated by Alijo Smajo for the burial ground.
Numerous tombstones testify to the long tradition of living in Klisa. Some of them are in the Muslim cemetery.
The return and restoration of life in Klis began in 1999. The first mosque after the war was worshiped in March 1999 in a destroyed mosque. The same year began its renewal. By 2004, the mosque and the mecteb classroom adjacent to the mosque were completed.
The Klisa Jam has 350 households. It is inhabited by Alici, Avdici, Ahmetovic, Jasarevic, Dzinic, Delic, Suljic, Omerovic, Khrustic, Hasanovic, Osmanovic, Hadzici, Hamzici, Muratovic, Ibrahimovic ...
Imams in the Jama'at were: Mehmed ef. Jasarevic until 1957, Mehdin ef. Jasarevic from 1957 to 1991. From 1991 to 1992 the imam was Sakib ef. Bajric who was taken along with his mummies. His body was identified and was buried in the Shahid cemetery in Memici. He has two children and parents behind him.
The Klisa family is originally Mirzet Hamzic, a Bosnian professor at the Gaza Husref-beg Madrasah in Sarajevo, and journalist and writer Ibrahim Hasanovic who was killed in Zvornik in 1976.
