One of the most interesting places in Cox's Bazar City is this Sampan sculpture. Many of today's generation do not know what this sampan thing is. Many compare it to ten other boats.
At one time this sampan was one of the most luxurious boats. Mr. Man, this sampan was one of the favorites of big merchant groups. It was called the symbol of the aristocracy. To protect the passengers from the sea and rain water, two pours on both sides of the sampan were helpful. Again, this is one of the reliance on goods transportation. At one time it was quite steep but now it is almost extinct. It is seen in some places including Karnafuli. It is seen on the way from Kalatali to Inani Beach.
This Sampan sculpture is one of the landmark steps taken by the Cox's Bazar Development Authority. This sampan will raise questions in the minds of the present children and teenagers. Encourage teenagers to learn history.
There is nothing to spend too much time on here. This sculptural area is made up of a very small space. But you can spend some time here to know and feel good. Those who like to take pictures can take it as a background.
