This mosque has been here since the beginning of Alamdanga railway station. Earlier there were many shops in front of the mosque due to which it could not be seen from outside. But now the new mosque has been made much bigger and wider, it is now two storeys high. The ground floor has been marketed and the upper floor has been arranged for prayers. The mosque market has been rented out as a number of shops. The hospital is located on the ground floor. This mosque is on the right hand side to go down to the city from the main platform of the station. As the platform of Alamdanga railway station is on the second floor, prayers can be offered in this mosque after descending from the platform. The inside of the new mosque is beautifully tiled and the mosque is very scenic.
