Khulna Polytechnic Institute is the largest Polytecnic Institute in the country and the highest seat of learning in the South region of Bangladesh. The Polytechnic has crossed 47 years of its foundation opening its door for the students with a solemn promise to spread quality of Technical education and research on 1963. Situated at the main campus of the Institute is very close to the mighty river Voyrab.

In order to ensure sustainable development in the field of technical and vocational education and to create skilled human resources suitable for the domestic and international labor market with well-educated, skilled and advanced ethics through education and training. Khulna Polytechnic Institute (abbreviated as KPI) is a government-owned polytechnic located in Khulna, Bangladesh. It is one of the biggest and oldest polytechnics in the country. Since 2008, the hostel of Khulna Polytechnic Institute has been closed.
