Atharia High School (named after the late Athar Ali, one of the companions of 360 Auliya), which was established in 1943 with the late Mahmud Ali and his sons in the village of Machkapur. During the establishment period, many notable people of the area extended a helping hand to them. It has been playing a major role in spreading education in the area since its inception.
