Obviously a good place for family program. Though it's not very big area but very good place it is.

One of the tourist spots located at the village of Padmadi, Baliakandi union, Rajbari upazilla, Faridpur district. The memorial centre is currently operated by Bangla Academy. The main attraction of the memorial centre is the graves of one of the best Muslim novelist and writer of Bengal, Mir Mosharraf Hossain, his wife Bibi Kulsum, his brother Mir Mokarram Hossain and the brother's wife Khodeza Begum. The centre also accommodates a library of 2,500 books and a sales shop of Bangla Academy. The greenish garden at the front yard of the centre would calm your heart. It is quite cheap to visit the memorial centre. From Dhaka, you may get on a bus of Nilachol (Himachol Paribahan) and get off at the Paturia (Aricha) Ghat. The cost by bus would be Tk. 120. Then you may take a Launch (Steamer) to Doulatdiya Ghat for Tk. 25. Once you step down at the Doulatdia Ghat, you may either take a bus (Satata Express) or a Mahindra for Tk. 30 to Rajbari Murgir Farm (Chicken Farm). From there, you will get another Mahindra that would take you to Baharpur for Tk. 20. From Baharpur you can take either a Van or a Rickshaw for Tk. 20 to the Memorial Centre. The weekly closing day is Thursday. It remains open on the other days from 9 am to 5 pm. However, it is better to call them before departure, if you plan to go on a Thursday.

This is one of the must see places in rajbari. This is the house where the great writer mir mosharraf hossain spent his days. This museum has a lot of his belongings here. This place is opened for everyone just closed on national holidays.
