Broken Model Pilot High School 189 AD. In the heart of Bhanga upazila under the traditional Faridpur district on 12.00 acres of uninterrupted land, in the very pleasant environment of the river Kumar on the banks of the river Kumar. Is established. The school was established by the Bar Association of the then Munsef Court. The school received permanent recognition from the University of Calcutta. The school has been consistently ranked among the meritorious in the matriculation examinations in the Pak-Indian subcontinent under the Calcutta Board since the British period and occupies a prominent place in the University of Calcutta. Reputation and tradition are still intact in the continuation of these results. 1942 The students of this school came together and organized an anti-British movement. As a result, there was a huge riot, commotion and clash between the police force and the students and the officer-in-charge of the then Bhanga police station died on the spot. The headmaster of the school was later arrested. At that time the name of the school was Bhanga High English School. Dhaka is considered as the best school in Bibargarh. The students of this school actively participated in the war of liberation. After becoming Bangladesh, Bhanga Multipurpose High School was named. Then in the early eighties the pilot project was included and the name was Bhanga Pilot High School. In 2010, during the Awami League government, 315 model projects were included and the name was Bhanga Model Pilot High School. 2013 The school was converted into a double shift by the Ministry of Education. There are 1408 female students in the morning branch and 1611 male students in the day branch i.e. a total of 3216 students are studying. There are 60 teaching staff. The school has been enlightening the region by imparting education with utmost competence since the era of illiteracy of the English period. Many students of this school are occupying important places in different parts of the world including Bangladesh due to their brilliant talents and qualifications. Not to mention the names of a few of them. In 1922, Atiqur Rahman Mahmud secured 3rd place and 1st place in ICS examination. Late actor Abul Khair, internationally acclaimed filmmaker Tareq Masood, renowned writer Narendra Nath Mitra, Bholanath Das, Baman Das who is now a NASA scientist.
