Gopalganj district headquarters is situated on the west by the Madha Madhumati River, on the south by the District Judge Court. Honors, 13 (Thirteen) honors, 10 (ten) subjects are taught in Master's, with eleven and undergraduate. There are 13 (thirteen) rotten ideas with 2 (two) student hostels and 03 (three) hostel buildings. The amount of land in college is 5.70 acres. In the year 1950 the classes were introduced as Intermediate College, I, A, IIM. It is named as Qayede Azam Memorial College. The first chapter of the college was Babu Pritam Kumar Das Gupta. In 1958, B, A, 1996 introduced B, Low and in 1970, B, SC, classes were introduced. In 1971, after the independence, the college was named after the Bangabandhu College. In April 1974, the college was made public on 1 April. The name was officially named Bangabandhu College.
