The Durgapur Mandalpara cemetery is the largest "dynasty" in the 2nd ward of Ashulia Union. Many sages of the Mandal dynasty and many entrepreneurs of the graveyard are buried in this cemetery. Although the cemetery was originally established for the Mandal dynasty, it is now the burial ground of the Mandal dynasty as well as other dynasties and the financially indigent, destitute and unclaimed bodies of the Mandal dynasty. Cemeteries are usually made in special places in the area. Historically grave is of special importance to archaeologists. The historical significance of the deceased reveals the condition of the buried body and the objects obtained with it. It also indicates the age at which the person lived and the culture he belonged to. The grave is the place where the dead body is buried. To bury a dead person is called "burial". The bodies of Muslims, Christians and Jews were buried according to their respective religious precepts. On the other hand, in most cases, the bodies of Hindus are burnt. And where Muslims are "buried" is called a cemetery. There are two types of graves: namely "Sindhuki grave" and "Bagli grave". Bagli graves are carved in the hard soil of the Middle East. Sindhuki is usually buried as the soil of Bangladesh is soft. The length of the grave will be according to the height of the dead body. Its depth will be at least half the height of the deceased. Graves are usually dug with spades, shovels, etc. Water can come out at the stage of digging deep holes in the soil. This water is irrigated as much as possible. Shrouded corpses (or, in some cases, coffins containing corpses) are then placed in the grave. On some of the corpses, mats were spread horizontally with bamboo. Then the grave is covered with soil. The aim is to ensure that the soil does not fall on the body.

While visiting the graveyard, one should recite this prayer facing west along the head of the deceased: "Peace be upon the believers and the inhabitants of the Muslim homeland. May Allah have mercy on all of us who have gone before and those who are behind. InshaAllah we are with you." Hub.6
