It is wel known as Jele para, once a time most of the people of this village involved in fishing. Education & Shoertage of fish in river young people move to another profession like Job, driving ect.

There are government primary schools near Alaka. Besides, most of the people are expatriates. They work in public / private places in different cities of the country. The children get education in the government schools and colleges in the neighborhood.
