The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has constructed a new Drishtinandan Bhaban at Chaleha Idris Government Primary School in Sri-Khandia village, Ward 2, Ashulia Union under Savar Upazila. The building was constructed under the new nationalization government primary school infrastructure development project (Phase I) based on demand in the fiscal year 2019-20. The construction of the school building has cost about 6 lakh rupees. The headmaster of the school said. Sanwar Hossain said the school was established in 1994. In the beginning it was a community primary school and a house made of tin. When it rained a little, water would fall with tin rice. Teaching activities were going on in the tin house. In 2013, the government nationalized the school. The school has five teachers and 338 students.
