Its a big market place. Many agricultural product buy and selling here. Groundnut, maize, lentil, bamboo, rice, cattle found here in reasonable price.

Rural Bazar! Everything is available here. People are so humble and respectful to others. Here, I have just talked to a rural women and she becomes so closed like she is my relative. She washes the plates of a riverside hotel (mini restaurant where beaf and small fish from river is very popular). When I was coming back, she came with me upto my boat. And she told whether I will come to their house in the next HAT BAR (next Wednesday) . She requested me to visit her house and meet her brother, sister-in-law, even her grand-son/daughter. Infact, she loved me so much like my mother! I had a very good experience. It is a remarkable journey by boat of me in my life. Our journey was started from Lalchamar Bazar and finished in Jorgach Puraton Bazar.

Historically this place is so famous. People are using this place for connecting with the nearest island of this area. You will find some shops over there like groceries and tea stalls.

It is a historic place. Here, Teesta and Brahmaputra water are created by the waves What a common thing here is the tidal erosion. Significant places of vigorous plantation All kinds of business goods come to the river. Lessons, oils, rice, cows, trees, paddy flour, paddy, etc., come in handy. It is a commercial ferry. And if want to go rajibpur or rowmari possible. This is great ferry.

Jorgass ghat is the most popular place of Chilmari. Lots of boats uses this ghat everyday. There is also a market near the ghat. As this is a very remote olqce thus the area is nit that developed. The road condition is very poor. Even the ghat itself is struging to hold itself. Because the river erosion is contineuously happening over here. Sorry to say that, the ghat is losing its land and eventually we will lose this ghat forever.
