A large section of the population is children and there is no modern children's park in the area for the purpose of entertaining these children. Realizing the importance of this issue, Mr. Sajjadul Hasan, Chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and former Senior Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, took the initiative to build this children's park. People from all walks of life in the municipality responded positively. It is to be noted that the plan of this proposed children's park has a wonderful combination of modernity and tasteful aesthetics which is rare not only at the upazila level but also at the district level of Mymensingh division. The design of the project includes state-of-the-art rides, various exhibition items and a beautiful eco-friendly garden that will turn it into a wonderful family vacation center. If the park is built, it will not only benefit the children of Komalmati Upazila of Mohanganj Upazila but also the children and teenagers of Dharmapasha, Jamalganj, Tahirpur and Khaliajuri, Atpara, Madan and Barhatta areas of Netrokona district. . The total land area of ​​the children's park is 5.29 acres, the entire land of which has been acquired. The value of the acquired land is 10,61,15,150.00 rupees (ten crore seventy one lakh fifteen thousand one hundred and fifty) rupees. In addition, the total cost of architectural construction is about six crore rupees. Mr. Sajjadul Hasan has been constantly monitoring and supervising the progress of the project since its inception. As a result, substantial progress has been made in this project. Details of progress so far: The project will be completed in three phases. The first step is to fill the soil and the boundary wall. The second stage has the structural part and the third stage has the rides. First step: 99 percent overall progress. 1) Boundary: Construction of walls with grill is completed. Only coloring left. Progress is 98 percent. 2) Soil filling: 100 percent completed. Step 2: Overall progress is 50 percent. 1) Main gate: Welding work is finished. Road work in progress. Tile work and finishing work (plaster, SS grill, paint, etc.) left. Overall progress 70% 2) Hexagonal Shed: The main casting work is finished. Finishing work remains. Overall progress about 80% 3) Main office building: Welding work is over. Work on the main part of the building is completed. Plaster, paint, tiles and furniture work remains. Progress 75% 4) Food Corner and Cafe: Casting work is over. Progress about 80% 5) Open Seating Place: Foundation and masonry finished. Finishing with shade left. About 30 percent of the total is completed. 6) Monument: Piling, Great Beam and base are completed. Top casting and finishing work left. Overall Progress 40% 6) Water body / lake: Ghatla construction completed. Block laying, boat installation and other work remains to be done. 80% progress 6) Toilet: Casting is over. Progress about 50% 9) Plantation and electrical work of the garden is left. Step 3: Installing rides and internal bridges. Tender activities in progress. If the park is built, it will be known as one of the entertainment centers not only for children but also for people of all walks of life including teenagers. New business establishments will be formed around the children's park. Moreover, it is expected that the way will be paved for the creation of new employment opportunities for some job-seeking people in the children's park.
