The first college was established in the year 12. The college is located at the center of Naogaon city. History shows that the company was named after the famous and rebellious peasant leader of Naogaon (British name) Astan Molla. Harnath Roy, the then zamindar of Dubalhati, led a successful seven-year uprising by organizing around fifty sixty thousand people in 5 AD to protest against the production of the land of the Muslim subjects and to defy the British government. The college was originally named after him.
