It is an important site for archaeological sites. Here are the symbols of ancient civilization, two and a half thousand years old.

The Wari-Bateshwar region in Narsingdi, Bangladesh is the site of an ancient fort city dating back to 450 BC. The 2500-year-old ruins being unearthed near the old course of the Brahmaputra River are a major archaeological discovery in the South Asia

This review is about my experience at the Wari-Bateshwar Zilla Parishad Dak Bungalow. Its a historical place 30 KM away from Narsingdi town,7 KM from Morjal bus stand. Tough its have a historical value still its under exploration. This place is not suitable for only visit purpose,if anyone near to it they can visit.Goverment shoul give emphasis on exploration & maintanance. The Wari-Bateshwar region (Bengali: উয়ারী-বটেশ্বর Uari-Bôṭeshshor) in Narsingdi, Bangladesh is the site of an ancient fort city dating back to 450 BC during the era of Maurya dynasty. The 2500-year-old ruins being unearthed near the old course of the Brahmaputra River are a major archaeological discovery in the Indian subcontinent. It challenges the earlier notions of early urban civilisation in Bengal. Also a character counter would be nice too, like I recently discovered was implemented on Google Translate. Nice!

A good place to visit as it is open but you can only see the pictures of diggings and cave houses as they are now buried underground
