200years old n well maintained buliding Ma sha allah. Maintain as a same no changes old things.

The house was for a Zamindar Family of late Mr. Abul Khairat. The last Zamindar was Mr. late Mr. Md. Abul Hasanat Shaheeb, designated Khan Shaheeb by British Govt. Now the house is one of the oldest house in the Dhaka. The first Chief Minister of undivided Bengal late Mr. Ser-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque visited many times in this house and made a family relationship in later. Mr. Hasanat Shaheeb was one of the founder of Dhaka National Museum and was the vice chairman of Dhaka Municipality in long period. The golorious history has been carrying the house since 200 years more. Many of bengali drama, cinema and TV commercial created in this house and the house was one of the ford of the British Govt. during 2nd world war! Still every Friday foreign deligates are visiting this house and getting photography and vediography as part of their amateur and research. Mr. AYM Lutful Karim, grandson of Mr. Khan Shaheeb living in this house and trying his level best to keep the house as it is. If you want to visit such historical place you may come any time.
