The expiation for the five daily prayers (sins). حدثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة, قال حدثني ابن أبي حازم, والدراوردي, عن يزيد, عن محمد بن إبراهيم, عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن, عن أبي هريرة, أنه سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول "أرأيتم لو أن نهرا بباب أحدكم , يغتسل فيه كل يوم خمسا, ما تقول ذلك يبقي من درنه ". قالوا لا يبقي من درنه شيئا. قال" فذلك مثل الصلوات الخمس, يمحو الله بها الخطايا ". Narrated Abu Huraira: He heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, “If one of you had a river in front of his house and he bathed in it five times a day, would there be any dirt on his body? They said there would be no dirt left on his body. Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: This is an example of the five daily prayers. Through this, Allah removes the sins of His servants. ”
