The mosque is located in Bakhria village of ward 1 of Sonagazi upazila. It is the oldest mosque in the area. It is not known exactly when the mosque was started, but according to local elders, it is one of the oldest mosques in the area. At present the mosque is a paved building. In addition to the Panjegana prayers, weekly Friday prayers are performed here. Formerly recognized as a social mosque, it is now losing its importance due to the neglect of the socialists by the construction of a large mosque next to it.
