Chattogram airfield was built in the year 1940 by the British government during World War II. It was used as a combat airfield by the United States Army and Air Force during the Burma Campaign 1944-1945. After independence it became a domestic airport with the movement of passenger flights in Dhaka-Chattogram Route. This is the second largest airport in Bangladesh. The airport is operated by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh. In 1990 it became International Airport. The major development and expansion work started in 1998 funded by the Japanese government and the project was completed in December 2000. After that it started journey as M A Hannan International Airport, Chattogram. On April, 2005 it was renamed to Shah Amanat International Airport, Chattogram. Shah Amanat International Airport is located at Patenga, southwest of Chattogram city at the bank of Karnaphuli River. This is 20 km west of Chattogram port and 18 km south of Chattogram railway station. Domestic and international passenger and cargo flights are operated by the national and international airline operators to and from Shah Amanat International Airport, Chattogram.

The entrance to the airport !! We have to enter with horror, weak and understanding travelers like us! Chittagong Shah Amanat Airport is located at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal on the west bank of the river Karnaphuli! There is a nice jam mosque located in a nice charming environment just a few meters away from the airport! Bangladesh Civilian Aircraft Movement Authority, State aviation controlling agency! When buying a plane ticket, The seat is not empty. Come back and buy another Airways! Logic is to come back constantly !! But to go to the jungle to go to the forest, Got so many seats on the state plane !!! So if the state deposit is tampered with, what is the future of our favorite airline? This question is timeless !!! Previously the overall condition of our favorite state airline was like this !! Names of the company's planes were Ganguly, Hung Hung, Akashwina instead of such impressive names, After independence, how would the newly named Bangladesh Airlines name such as Shahjalal Rahh, Shahporan Rahh, Shah Makhdoom Rahh, Shah Sultan Rahh, Khan Jahan Ali Rahh be named after them? Named after the honorable Allaah, the great Allah, the Most High, descended on them on behalf of Allah, their beloved Allaah. I would hope that he would help by sending mercy instead of anger, tragedy, etc. From the time of independence till the last few years, our semi-broken old locker jhakkar, with all its aircraft, continued its flight operations with the most expensive airlines equipped with the most sophisticated airlines around the world! There has never been a major aviation accident like other reputed airlines! It seems to me that this is the only great Almighty Allah who has survived a fatal accident by not obeying the heavens and the sky in honor of his beloved Aliullah! On the opening day of the inauguration of the new Airbus nationally by purchasing the new Airbus, the door was closed by the crew on opening the plane! Although the name of Akash Veena did not have many valuable instruments in the money ring, the sound of his engine produced by the supersonic sound of the engine while playing the flute in the sky (Veena) would have been completed! Now for the sake of justifying his name, the intention of playing the harp (flute) in the sky to create more noise in the engine is to add to the loss of itself! And sometimes our national resources get very bad after hearing such news about the accident! If someone is crippled or killed in a road accident, which is the cry of a lifetime for that family, what could be the fate of a plane crash?
