The central library is located at Boyra in the middle of Khulna city. There are many types of books stored here and the environment is very good for reading. Moreover, many newspapers are kept here every day to quench the thirst of those who come here to study. However, it would be better to increase the number of books and infrastructural development here. Every year in February, like Dhaka, a book fair is organized in the library grounds.

Nice place. Security is good. Book fair is ongoing. You can visit this place with your family.

The divisional public library of Khulna has one of the largest collection of books among whole Bangladesh. You'll find rare books and reference materials such as newspapers as old as from the 1960s. The current building will soon be replaced by a new building the design of which has been approved. The current building is 60 years old but still in good shape. The library has state of the art Wi-fi equipment and Wi-fi internet facility for the readers are available from Jan 2021.

its a very importente think to all over the bangladesh. There is a huge collection of 1,37,003 books from birth to present. In order to make the reader service more dynamic, resource corner, special help corner for job seekers, children's corner, English language free access center etc. have been set up by the British council under Bangabandhu Corner, Upazila Governance Project (UZGP).

It is now just a place for BCS aspirants who have nowhere else to go. I wonder who has time for books in this "digital" world!?
