I don't know why someone create this new building as an administrative building. Cause this building usually use for college section.

Lord William Benting founded the school, called the 'Bowlia English School', in 1201, with his personal efforts and encouragement to spread English education in the country. Its first activities began on the porch of a pitcher's house near Barakuthi on the banks of the Padmanadi. At first it was an unpaid private school. At that time, the school continued with the help and cooperation of English officers, lawmakers and landlords of Natore Dighapatia, Dabalhati, Puthiya and Bolihar, as there was no government support for the school. William Adam, the then acting officer in charge of the spread of education, presented the bright prospect of the school to the government after visiting the Rajshahi Boulia School after the education survey in Natore, on June 27, the school was made public and acquired as Rajshahi District School. Sardar Prasad Basu of Rajshahi was appointed as the head teacher of the school. The total number of students in the school that year was 5, of which 5 were Hindus, 2 were Muslims and 5 were Christians. In 7, the number of students increased to 5. For the first time in 5 years, the upper class was charged at the rate of Tk 5 per head. As a result, the number of students is reduced. A total of 2 students in grades 1 and 3 and three students in junior year 3 get junior. In 6, a large paved building was constructed in the school. In 7, the number of students is 6. There was no education board at that time. Under the Calcutta University (now SSC) examination was conducted in undivided Bengal. The school got the approval of the University of Calcutta in 7. That same year, meritorious student Mohinmohan Chakraborty took the merit scholarship by taking the entrance exam. During this time the student salary was increased to 2 Taka. There were 20 students in the school that year. At one point, the school's newly constructed building fell under the river Padma. As a result, school activities continue in a rented home. With the financial support of King Yogendra Narayan Roy of Puthiya, some rooms were built in the present place of the school. In 8, two classes of the college were merged with the Government English School of Bowlia. Since then it has been renamed as "Rajshahi Collegiate School". In addition to the financial support of the Empress SharatSundari Devi of Puthiya, an additional two new buildings of the school were constructed. In the 8th Entrance Exam, 5 out of 5 candidates passed. Which is a significant achievement of the school at that time. In 8, the college's class two were separated and taken to the present Rajshahi Government College and then the school continued under the administration of the college. The Fuller Hostel was built in the 5th year with the financial support of the Governor of Bengal and with the active support of politician Khan Bahadur Emduddin. A separate Hindu hostel was built for the school in that year. The Governor of Bengal visited the school for the first time in 122. The number of students was 5 at the time. In 1251, the Hindu hostel was shifted to the Raja Pramath Nath (PN) hostel. The number of students at the school dropped to about five due to anti-British political activities in the 5th. This year marked a significant addition to the history of the school: (1) the formation of the Boy Scout Team (2) the Junior Red Cross organization and (1) the annual magazine publication of the school for the first time. Students of the school won the Jaxon Shield and the Brabon Shield in the 7th and signed the sport. The school library was established in the 5th and the science gallery was built in the 7th (which was demolished when it was declared abandoned in 122).
