Background of the Establishment of the University: The University of South Asia (University of South Asia) has been established as a private university under the Private University Act of 1992, with a view to improving human resources and achieving undisputed leadership in the field of education. Its curriculum has been approved by the University Grants Commission and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and also been appreciated by some of the world class universities. The Governing Body of the University consists of law makers, business professionals, renowned academics and soon. University of South Asia will lead the way with its career-focused curriculum and a long-standing commitment to quality teaching and learning and innovative research. It is a career-oriented and dynamic university committed to leading the way in higher education and research.
