It is local and internal Transportation terminal by river .From here people go to Dhaka and come from Dhaka. There are some launch time to time come and go .

Goshairhat water way station known as Potti launch ghat.Main river meghna and jayanti . This potti launch ghat is one of the oldest port of Bangladesh.Till time this is the only symbolic part which had a glorious history over hundreds of years. Basically goshairhat is well known for this potti launch ghat since 17th century.During British Raj regime potti ghat was the prominent steamer station.In British India period idilpur was one of the largest pargana under zamindari of Faridpur district.It's headquarter was in Haturia . After abolishing pargana system by Cornwallis administration, Idilpur zamindari were given permanent settlement. In 1789 Chaudhuris named Golam Ali Chaudhary, Golok Roy Chaudhary and others were zamindars of Idalpur pargana. The zamindari was attached to the collector for arrears and later was sold to Mohini Mohan Tagore of Calcutta (Grand father of Rabindranath Tagore) in 1812. The existing tohsil office and some residential buildings of the then zaminder in Haturia is the historic witness.
