A village railway station.

This station is located on Laksam-Noakhali line, operates non-interlock signaling system. Only Intercity train stops here is Upakul Express, if you are traveling to Dhaka by this train you must report on time. ut if you are traveling to Noakhali, don’t choose this train, there are two different commuter and another express train available. Very poor change of getting reservation.

It's a good Railway station in Sonaimuri.
