Chandimura Mandir, Lalmai

Holy place for Hindu community in Cumilla. The Temple is absolutely majestic and full of serenity. One can enjoy a scenic view of lass greenery and small hill around Lalmai. Every first Friday of Bangla months pilgrimage visits this holy place for redemption and praying together for the betterment of the mankind. There is also a residence facilities for pilgrimage and food available on pre-order.

It is located about 14-15 km south of Comilla Sadar, in a hilly area called Lalmai on Comilla Chadpur District Road. The Mahayasi Rani "Prabhavati" of the Kharag dynasty was of Hindu descent. According to the wishes of this spiritual sage, the Buddhist king Devakharag established two temples, Sri Sri Chandi and Shiva. Every day devotees come to this temple and worship. And distributes prasad after puja. It is possible to take a local train from Comilla Railway Station to Lalmai Railway Station in 15 minutes on foot or by rickshaw / CSG.

Very Beautiful place. We were lucky to visit in a cool day. Weather was nice and gentle breeze was blowing. Stairs are almost similar to 6 th floor. Very neat and clean. Greens are everywhere. N.B. Only hindu religion peoples are allowed inside the temple for a limited period of time.

Is a wonderfull plase

It’s an historical and older temple of hinduism. It’s a very nice place to visit a tourist. It’s located a area of lalmai hill. There are two temple in those area. One of the mother CHANDI, and another is LORD SHIVA. Every month first friday held in religious ceremony.
