Mukteshwari Degree College, Monirampur Mukteshwari Degree College is located in Panchbaria village of Haridashkati union of Monirampur upazila on 3 acres of 60 shatak land with two two-storeyed buildings with 15/20 rooms. The college has a common room for girls. The Mukteshwari Degree College was named after the Muktishwari River flowing by the side of the college. The journey of the college started in 1984 on the initiative of Bindrara, a senior teacher of the area. Taruk Mallick, Ranjit Mallick and Jiban Biswas College have been remembered for donating the entire land. Every year several students get A + from here. In 2007, the college was ranked first among the Jessore Board of Education and the board authorities donated a few computers as prizes. In 2011, the college was at the top in Monirampur. The college continues to play an important role in spreading education among the people of the area.
