BRTA (Bangladesh Road Transport Authority) Divisional Office in Sylhet is located on the 2nd floor of the Collectorate building of the Sylhet Deputy Commissioner's Office. All kinds of paperwork of the vehicle, name transfer of the vehicle, driving license, and all kinds of vehicle-related work are done from that office. Written tests, oral tests, and practical tests for the driving licenses are conducted under this office. Biographies and fingerprints of those who have passed the examination are accepted in this office and later driving license is issued from this office. Vehicle registration, vehicle registration number plate, vehicle fitness test etc. are done from this office.

Public Service. Now they are providing motor vehicles digital number plate. Others work is available now.
