It is one of the oldest parks in the subcontinent. It is formed in Kaptai upazila of Rangamati hill district. This forest is located about 57 km northeast of Chittagong city. And its distance from Rangamati city is about 35 kilometers. The park was established in 1999 by the Bangladesh Forest and Environment Department covering an area of ​​5,464 hectares. Apart from lakes, hills, rivers, canals and waterfalls, the main attractions of the park are various birds and wildlife. The biodiversity of this park includes deer, elephants, wild cats, cloud leopards, monkeys, apes etc. There are two rest houses in the park.
