Bd Air Force Officers’ Mess, Dhaka is established for all serving officers, entitled civilians and visitors on the staff duties or on courses at Air Headquarters and BAF Base Bashar. It provides messing and accommodation for single and married unaccompanied serving officers. Civilian staff and students of officer status (including foreigners) on courses may also be offered Mess facilities and accommodation under the rules and conditions set out in BAP-62. Location : BAF Officers’ Mess, Dhaka is located at Tejgaon, just opposite of Old Airport. Facilities BAF Officers’ Mess, Dhaka incorporates many facilities which include Billiard, Tennis, Squash, Swimming Pool and Gymnasium. This mess provides accommodation facilities in three BOQs (Bachelor Officers’ Quarters), honeymoon lodge and VIP suits. Members Full Members. All officers of BAF and all Bangladesh Army and Navy officers serving or on temporary duty at Air Headquarters and BAF Base Bashar.    Affiliated Members. All officers of BAF Reserves serving or on temporary duty at Air Headquarters and BAF Base Bashar. All overseas officers attached to a base under Air Headquarters’ arrangements. Class-I civilian officers serving or on temporary duty at Air Headquarters and BAF Base Bashar, with the approval from Air Officer Commanding/ Base Commander, be invited by the mess committee to become affiliated members of the mess. Honourary Members. All Officers of BAF Reserves visiting mess while off duty. Retired BAF officers may be requested to give their willingness/ unwillingness for honourary membership. The willing officers will continue to retain mess member (honourary) unless otherwise instructed by Air HQs. Mess Dress :   Members and their guests using public rooms of the Mess should be dressed appropriately. The dress regulations applied at all times (except for when functions demand specific dress) in the Dining Room, Bar and other public rooms are given here. Bar :     Tobacco and sundries are available in the bar for sale to members. Instructions and timings are given here. Swimming Pool :  Swimming pool is open for all mess-members and their dependants. It is located in the mess premises near VIP suit. Along with adult pool, two small pits are available for non-swimmer kids. Instructions and timings are given here.
