Gazi Medical College is a medical higher education institution located in Khulna, Bangladesh. This private level medical college was approved in 2011. So that 5 year term undergraduate MBBS. The curriculum is on. Every year 50-60 foreign students are admitted here along with 50 Bangladeshi students. Gazi Medical College is located in Sonadanga Police Station, Khulna, Bangladesh. There is a 500-bed hospital with the college. The former name was Khulna Surgical and Medical Hospital. In 2011, it was turned into Gazi Medical College Hospital. Gazi Mizanur Rahman established Gazi Medical College in 2011. Education activities started in 2012. The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree course is divided into three parts called first, second and third professional examinations. If a student fails any of these tests, he or she will have to take the test again after six months. Under the "Continue" rule of 2002, students will be able to prepare for re-examinations as well as participate in activities for the next academic year. The students were very happy with this rule, but the teachers strongly opposed the rule. In 2013, the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council repealed the "Continue" rule. As a result, students who fail the professional exam will not be able to participate in the activities of the next academic year until they pass. As a result students may lose up to one year in this process. Gazi Medical College is affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine, Rajshahi University. The founding chairman of the college was Gazi Mizanur Rahman and the principal was Manoj K Bose. The college is approved by the Indian Medical Council (MCI) and the Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
