This is the district main branch of the biggest and most popular state owned commercial bank of bangladesh, which foremost purpose is to serve the people with more than 37 free service such as providing the service of giving various govt. dole, pension, utility bill receiving, opening 10tk ac for marginal people and many more services. District branch serve as the banker of all other bank of the district as clearing house, feeder branch and chest branch; and banker of the govt. offices as treasury branch. It is the only AD branch of the dristrict. This branch is established upon govt. land which is in the area of DC office.
