This is the largest public pond of Sholla Union situated in the center of greater Sholla village on the Nawabganj - Sholla Road. This was dug during 1973 to 1975 (approximately) with a view to removing the difficulties of natural water for bathe of the local people. Thousands of people took their bathe and carried water to their home for cooking and other household purposes. This a very good place for swimming. In the early '90s there held swimming competition among the general people on first day of Bengali month Bhadra and also there held a village fair on the 4 sides of the pond when traditional boat race ceremony was held on the Rani Khaal beside but adjacent to the pond.
