The 'Bangabandhu Tri Tower' project of Bangladesh's dream is being developed in Purbachal near Dhaka where a smart city will be developed around this project. The three high towers are centered around the aesthetic stadium, hospital, business center, modern traffic management system, etc. The main attraction of the project is the 52-storey building commemorating the language movement, 61-storey building commemorating the great liberation war and 111-storey building commemorating the legacy of the present Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. However, the 142-storey tower '71' designed by the former builder KPC Group was changed. Administrative reasons and the disagreement of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism were also responsible for the design change. Currently, the project will be implemented through Sikdar Group's sister company Power Pack Holdings Limited and Kazima Corporation of Japan, respectively. If all goes well, the project will start appearing in 2024 and the piling work is in full swing and the project is being overseen by the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK). The total cost of the project is estimated at Tk 96,000 crore and the countries interested in investing in the project are the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines. Already, the total proposed cost of the project has been raised to Tk 60,000 crore. Many people may disagree with this project, but this project will show the economic strength of Bangladesh and also the image of Bangladesh will be bright abroad.
