Chandpur Old Court Para (proposed Swami Swarupananda Paramhansdev Road) is a monastery located on the southern side of the railway lake in the area. There are gurukunja, free treatment and hostel. Registered by the Department of Social Services, a voluntary organization called the Negative Ashram Seva Sangha.
