FANTASTIC. I loved the food, ambiance and service. Its an amazing experience at a great value. I would highly recommend. They are reservation only and bookup quickly because they only have 10 tables.

Best place I have ever been to in Rio de Janeiro! I don’t understand how anyone could give this place a review less than 5-stars. The food was unique and super fresh. All ingredients used were amazing and organic. The flavors were intense yet subtle. Kudos to the chef and the staff of this hidden gem in Rio! We will go back to the US thinking of how wonderful our experience was and how kind and friendly everybody was, too!

Great experience and service - we did the larger tasting menu with the wine pairing on a Thursday night - it was quite, but more people came much later around 9 pm. The larger menu included 14 courses: 9 small bites, 3 larger plates, and 2 desert courses. The plates included a lot of creative vegetable dishes which I loved.nnDefinitely worth the price.

I did not select the place so I didn’t know what to expect, with that in mind, I must say this really surprised me in all matters: ambiente was cozy and intimate, as this is within a house, you get the opportunity to visit the open kitchen which lets you meet everyone there, all friendly people; people was more than friendly with multiple nationalities, in my case, very useful as they could explained the plates in Spanish, the sommelier also helped to pick the right wines; dishes where well presented. We decided to take the 11 times tasting menu, although we did not enjoy one or two times (which I believe is part of a tasting), all was close to say “perfect”.nnI’d definitely have this as an option if you are having a couples trip in Rio.

I love to eat o Michelin star restaurant and I had not been to Lasai during the time I lived in Rio. I got the chance when we went to Rio on holidays. I booked the restaurant 2 months in advance.
