Aldeia Beijupira Pousada

This is coming from an American on vacation in SP. I don’t know if other English-speaking travelers will make it all the way out here, but I can say it was no trouble for us. From Maceió airport you can find a transfer (like Uber) service and it was a little under 2 hour drive.nnFrom the moment you arrive , the workers are there to help you. I can say this with zero doubt, every single worker we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. They had such an air of calm about them that you couldn’t help but feel relaxed.nnWe had several requests for the staff on the first day, and they took every issue seriously and solved them efficiently. The A/C in the room actually makes most of the condo cold, so no problem there.nnThere are restaurants there. One is actually inside aldeia, and the other is right down the road (restaurant amor). Trust me, fellow Americans, when I say the food here is top notch for the price. Very elegant meals with just the right amount. A nice dinner will run you probably R$45 , which is like $15. But the food is fantastic. I don’t like seafood so I cannot speak for that, but every non-seafood item was also great ( we tried almost all non-seafood items).nnThe breakfast is unbelievable. It’s obviously built in to your overall price but it is well worth whatever amount. They bring delicious fruit of quality that I am certain we don’t have in most the U.S. it is so fresh and tasty. Then they bring an array of pão de queijo and many other dishes, as well as coffee with milk. There’s a nice balance of salty and sweet with the breakfast. Don’t worry about all the different items, just try them. They are all wonderful. They also bring fresh juices, from maracujá to strawberry to whatever you can think of.nnAs for the rooms, they are fine. Every day , there is a woman who comes to clean at some point. I had to go back in the room to grab something and she happened to be there. I saw how she cleaned she was literally hand-scrubbing the floors. You can tell how clean it is. Bed is always made up.nnAs for the beach, we had had recent rains so there was quite a bit of algae, and it was during the fall. The beach was still VERY beautiful. The workers will come every 30 minutes-1 hour or so and ask if you need anything. Yes they bring food and drinks down to the beach.nnAll this is not inconvenient for either party because you don’t have to pay at the same time you order every time. They keep a tab of what you got and you just pay when you leave.nnWill definitely be back as soon as we can ! Thanks to all the workers who do a great job making us tourists feel at home. You made our stay what it was.
