Fazenda do Paraízo

This is a very well preserved farm from 1845 that used to produce coffee. The first owner was Domingos Custódeo Guimarães or Viscount of Rio Preto (Black River Viscount). The actual owners belongs to the second family of owners of this farm. Mrs. Simone and her husband keep the place preserved as it was in the century the farm was built. Everything is kept original, the furniture, the paintings, decoration... Is like going in the past. I can say it is one of the best preserved farms from the time that coffee was considered an investment good as gold. To visit this farm, you have to schedule your visit by phone. The price is about US$10.00, it is not expensive due to the knowledge of the owners about the farm history and their sympathy. It is easy to find a place to park in the farm, don't worry about this.

Fazenda de Café melhor preservada e mais incrível que visitei. A proprietária recebeu o grupo com muita receptividade e atenção, passando todos os detalhes e servindo lanche ao final. Realmente uma viagem no tempo. Superou as expectativas. Visita imperdível para que está por Rio das Flores / Região do Vale do Café.
