Even though it was opened in 1998, its one of the most modern Subway stations in Latin America because it has been upgraded, it even has platform screen doors.

Excellent metro service. Vila Madalena--the terminal station of the green line. Fare 3.80 reals for any station, change as many lines you wish! A man was selling wollens in the mornings and a girl was selling roses in the evenings just outside the exit. Best wishes to them...
