The church is painted... coming from Europe, it is not so often we can enjoy such a place.nI had a real peaceful moment for my heart for my eyes :)

Oh My Goodness! Seeing is believing! Only when you are there you can understand what time-travel really means. It feels like stepping into the XVII Century, during the Glory Days of Roman Catholicism. The sounds and shapes lead you into an introspective state; then you can only think God, how Great He is, and how small and fickle we are.

A beautiful grand church, open to the public. It is a busy location but the building itself is excellently maintained.

I have no religion and I do not believe in anything. However, every single time I find myself near this place I I pay a visit. It beautiful inside, you get a break from the craziness outside and you get some protection from the elements. Lots of nice pieces to see, and this is one of the most iconic religious sites in São Paulo, so if you have got even a passing interest in beautiful churches, you would do great to come here.

Great place to visit in the middle of the downtown chaos! Masses are cool and if you can see one with the GEORGIAN CHANTS and organ playing, it's spectacular!
