We recently stayed at the Pousada Miragem based on it's overall good reviews. Unfortunately we had a VERY unpleasant stay with them. The physical conditions were less than great- huge water stains on the walls, windows in the bathroom were out, no safe in the room, bad internet service, the room was generally dark and dank. The owner was also VERY inhospitable- she got very upset with us for taking towels to the beach, and only after I explained to her that we came from the US and don't have towels, did she offer some other towels. The breakfasts were unappealing- my husband could not even eat his egg. They did not clean the room for 3 days, and when I inquired, she told me that we had the key with us and they could not get in. I then asked her for a broom and clean towels, and cleaned it myself- she did not offer any help! Also, the toilet was clogged, and she gave me a bucket, again offering no help. All in all, we felt quite unwelcomed there, and certainly would not recommend this as a place to stay on this gorgeous island.

Very nice inn. With balcony overlooking the peak (from others you can see the sea). Very good service. Rich breakfast. Excellent staff I recommend 100%

Fiquei na casa do Del .Ótimo quarto e atendimento. café da manhã e da tarde tbm otimo. Pessoal muito simpático.
