Pousada Casa Grande

One of the best stays in Ilha Grande, comfy rooms, super friendly staff and owners, superb breakfast and beautiful garden. One of the very few places inside Abraão village that still has the garden surrounding the main house, including a water stream in the back and more than 30 different types of fruit trees.nI lived about 10 years in the island and Casa Grande is one of my favorite homes in the island. Highly recommended!!

Amazing hosts, Yayoi and Nilson. We had so many great chats with Yayoi in English and in French.nnThis place is a hidden heaven. Beautiful garden with so many trees. The breakfast here always had fresh fruits from the garden and with local bread.nnEach room has a mosquito-net which drapes over the bed, and this was a lifesaver for me.nnThe location is a very short walk away from the loud and bustling part of the town, so you can relax and enjoy the island among nature and head out for food/drinks!nnWhen you are looking for the pousada, walk down the main street, and right before the bridge you will see a sign for Casa Grande. Walk through the gate and the road will split into two and there's a bicycle under the sign for the other accommodation. Follow the path to the right and you will arrive at this hidden paradise.nnP.S. WiFi is stronger by the breakfast area.

Great place! At the edge of the forest. Exceptional breakfast, everything is homemade
