Pousada Caúca

Loved this Pousada! We arrived after a terrible stay in a hostel nearby and were amazed at the contrast. It was peaceful, clean and the staff were friendly with great English! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very good hotel, with a beautiful internal garden. The breakfast is really good, with many fruits, some cakes and good bread. Much better than many similar hotels we stayed in Brazil. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We just had a problem with the shower (it did not work. We could only have warm shower, but not hot). Easy access to the restaurants but far enough to be very silent at night.

The beautiful garden is the first thing you see, it's super colorful.nRooms were basic but clean and comfort.nThere are some public areas for chilling which is nice.nAND I think they have an emergency power supply / generator. electricity tends to go off every once in a few days in ilha grande, so that's a great feature.

This guest house is convenient located, it's clean and reasonably new. They only thing is that the breakfast is somewhat limited (but fresh) and the beds are small.
