Restaurante Dom Mario

Meal was amazing. The shrimp entre was out of this world. The main course was salmon. We asked for potato's but unfortunately were undercooked. The pinapple juice was really good

After reading how great this restaurant was I decided to visit when I traveled to Ilha Grande. Biggest Mistake ever. They took 45 minutes to bring us our appetizer and the waitress would just pass us not telling us, until we asked then they brought the food, they didnt even apologise...we then waited 2 hours for our main course which wasnt even god by the way. We asked our waitress how long she said she would let us know and she never came back to our table after getting frustrated I went to the counter and they said 5 minutes in a very rude way. Worst experience in this Beautiful island. STAY AWAY from DOM MARIO

This was the best meal from our visit to Ihla Grande ! We had the fish with Maracuja sauce which was delicious, I had read reviews that it was a popular dish but it exceeded my expectations ! The capirinhas were also great..capirinhas with ginger and capirinhas with basil were delicious . It's on a small back road so could easily miss it or think it would be too quiet but great atmosphere and great restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Good food, the salmon was not the best but everything else was. Island service is slow but they are kind and helpful. I enjoyed the muscles and steak. The drinks are nice.... It's on par with Lua e Mar. IT'S in a hidden place past the main pier down the street at the end on the right. Open TUESDAY ALSO

We ordered the Basilico Shrimp! It was amazing. They offered us free caipirinhas too. Service was really good.
