Fantastic meal right on the beautiful beach. Food was amazing, we returned for a second night to try more. The salmon ceviche was the best we have ever tasted! Also the cocktails are delicious ud83dudc4c (personally recommend the 'Alexander'). Definitely the best meal we had on the island and the staff are all super friendly and attentive. Especially Jader who served us both times. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location, even better food. Quite expensive but fair price when compared to the other beach front restaraunts on Ilha Grande. The Seafood BBQ is essential if visiting

On the beach, meat is great, live music a lovely touch. I had the tuna and I asked for it to be cooked medium as previous reviews said it had been over cooked. Stray dogs are cute but they are after.left overs ud83dude02 waitress is great ud83dude0d

TLDR: underwhelming. Good ambiance, ok service, horrible food.nnWe had read great good things about the food and drink, and after walking by the restaurant a few times we decided to give the food a try on a Wednesday night.nnEnvironment: 5/5nGreat ambiance. We sat right on the beach with live music behind us, it was hard to beat the environment. However, there are 5-6 other restaurants with the same setup, so it's definitely not the only experience in town to go to for that. The only thing that could've been improved is that the chairs that are directly seaside are recliners for drinking only, which means our view was obstructed by people sitting in front of us.nnFood: 1/5nWe had read the review online and had high expectations for the food. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. I ordered the gorganzola filet mignon, cooked medium rare.nAfter 45 minutes our food came out. My steak was bathed in a puddle of gorganzola cream sauce to the point where I couldn't even see the meaf underneath it. The sauce was good, but it really overpowered the actual beef. The actual quality of the filet was also bad because it was too thin (around 1cm) and was cut at a weird angle somehow with the grain of the tenderloin, which made cutting it hard. The sides were roasted potatoes and white rice.nMy partner had the grilled calamari salad, which was a quickly thrown together mountain of lettuce, sliced tomatoes and peppers and carrots, with some grilled calamari rings thrown on top. It didn't come with a dressing, which was needed, and the whole thing was extremely bland for a 35 reais dish.nnService: 3/5nThis was truly a mixed bag. Our server, Joaquín, was friendly and knowledgeable and the speed we were attended to was for the most part good. We'd been on the island for 3 days and were used to the slower/relaxed speed of food coming out, but we waited about 45 minutes for a steak and salad, which was disappointing. When he asked how things were, we gave our opinion on the food. He was very apologetic and asked for more info. He also said he would talk to the owner for us. All in all a good service experience, except for the wait for our food and check. We waited around 7 minutes for the check after we asked for it. He told us that they were sorry we didn't like the food and gave me the check, which also included a 10 reais charge for the live music.
