Pousada Riacho dos Cambucás

This is such a special place. This jungle lodge is close to the local restaurants but is still far enough for some peace and quiet. They have a great breakfast (but limited gluten-free options), and the helpful staff will be able to book one of the boat tours around Ilha Grande. Loved this place!

Great experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you with everything you need. Location is just right, not too far from the city centre and yet not too near to be disturbed by the noise. All in all, great experience!

Wonderful pousada, offering a nice, calm and green decor as well as impeccable service. The breakfast and afternoon tea are really good. The pousada is also well located: close to restaurants but in a secluded area. They have a sustainability program and their efforts to preserve the environment are tangible. Only negative points for us were that the beds aren’t comfortable and you can really hear every noise from adjacent rooms.
