This place delivers what is supposed to be delivered. It is not fancy. It is not luxurious. It is a place where you can have a simple breakfast, put up your swimsuit and be ready to explore the outstanding beach of Camburi.nnI will start with the good stuff. You cannot expect starred Michelin cuisine or a top of the notch mixologist to prepare your cocktails. Things here are simple. For starting the day, breakfast is regular. Mainly industrialized stuff, with fair options of fruit. Just after breakfast you just need to walk 10 meters and you will hit the beach, where you could choose between staying in lying chairs in the lawn or in beach chairs with your feet touching the sand.nnBeach service is good. Waiters have your back without being frenzy or intrusive. The menu rolls all day long. What you can have as an appetizer during the day you can have at dinner. And the options for dinner can be served throughout the day. Food is simple, but well prepared, with fresh ingredients and adequcy to the beach front setting. Beverages are also consonant to the purpose of the hotel. Pricey, yes. But not as pricey as in other places in the region.nnOne last whim: the pool is outstanding. Kept at a temperature of above 30C. You could just use it anytime, at any temperature, that this would be comfortable. We had one rainy and one sunny day. And both of them had the pool as an outstanding option.nnAccommodation-wise, the rooms are clean and neat. We chose a room with a balcony that was really worthy. People-wise, everyone is quite friendly. Pandemic-wise, things could be better. So let's start to discuss what could be better.nnIf I was the manager this place would be a hit. More than it is. Attention to the details: breakfast could be better, just hire a bakery in the region to bring less industrialized and more natural stuff. The place has a afternoon tea service, where the same rule could apply. For rainy days, options are scarce as well. A game room would be interesting. And pandemics! Well, you could have a better system to write down our orders...every order needed a signature with the same pen the waiter was using. No alcohol afterwards. Tables did not have alcohol to clean the hands. And cleaning protocols were good, but not sufficient. This goes a lot with the guests, that probably thought the pandemic was already over and seemed to use masks as a prop rather than as a safety utensil.nnOverall, it is a really pleasant experience. I would return to this place exactly because it delivers it's purpose. It could be better, yes. But for now, this was my favorite beach experience in São Paulo.

Super hospitable staff, smiley atmosphere, great breakfast with fruit, a la mode eggs etc. really sweet hot tub and sauna facility facing the beach, spacious pool and about 22 grade a rooms so it doesn't get too crowded. This is one Alcatraz you are not going to want to escape from.
