Stayed during the second week of December. Beautiful weather. You can walk right onto the beach from the hotel, and there is a nice pool as well. Food and drinks are served both on the beach and poolside. Rooms are pretty good for Brazilian standards. Had a great view of the ocean. Maresias itself is a nice little beach town about 3 hours northeast of São Paulo. Peaceful during the time I stayed but much busier during peak beach season between Christmas and Carnaval.

The location of the hotel is amazing. Right in front of the beach! They have really good food (enough options for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians), good clean rooms with a tiny fridge. The staff is helpful. The only tricky part is you have to buy drinking water here from the hotel.
